(x) 'Libbie Wicket': swashy script - what font? - Olicana {Nick C}

kateprice

Hello! I need help ID'ing the font for the logo of Libbie Wicket.

www.libbiewicket.com

I'm so in love with this font - but I can't seem to find it anywhere! Also the font for the other part of the logo would be fantastic as well (normal serif type) and the calligraphy type as well.

Thanks in advance!

I recognize that one. It's Olicana Smooth. Glad you like it ;^)

That doesn't seem to match up..

It does now.

When I go type in the wording I want for the smooth version, it doesn't look like the sample - which font comes with the Olicina Smooth?

It's the 'swash' feature in OpenType. It looks like that feature can't be enabled when generating a sample, but I do know it's there.

I've done a bit of research: The cap L and l/c k are swash glyphs, and the cap W is actually the swash M rotated 180 degrees with a bit of alteration. The other lower case are standard glyphs with ligatures activated.

Kate, reason why Nick is so sure it is Olicana is, because he is the designer of the font. :)
