I know the library can be much better than the internet for these things but:
But I read on a website :
" so what are the features of humanist sans serif faces? One of the first such designs was Frutiger"
But isn't Johnston also one, and Gill sans..? These are way older right?
It's more that besides architecture (read my other forumposts); I'm also looking for artpieces that fit these typefaces..
Maybe you have an idea?

Hi Margot,
here are a few links to older links that might provide an insight into the various – and varying – terms and definitions:
‘humanist sans’ – 1st use of label?
Sans Serifs – What’re the differences
Where are the calligraphic origins of Humanist Sans type?
After Neo-Grotesque and Neo-Humanist?
What category would you classify Meta, Scala, and Thesis?

A couple of essays that I wrote several years ago about humanist sans-serifs might be of use:

http://search.creativepro.com/article/dot-font-the-human-side-of-sans-serif
Of course, there are even more humanist sans-serifs available today. Where once it was a rare exercise, now it's one of the dominant forms in new typeface design.
