identifont.com and whatthefont draw a blank unfortunately...

perhaps it is a custom made typeface?

Have you tried searching Part 7 of the Script Font ID Guide? It's possible it is custom, but if the a's all look identical it's a good bet that it's a font.

Part 8 is also possible, because these letters do not connect very obviously. Tight tracking might make it look more connected than it is.

Yeah, I went through it, but without result :-(
From the fact that you fine lot don't recognise it, I deduct that it is indeed a custom production (and a mighty fine one).

So a logical question would be... could anyone suggest me a similar script font... equally brass and cheerful without too much curls?
