Hi I need more information about Isabella by Hermann Ihlenburg. Does anybody know anything about the development of this typeface and its intended purpose? Anything about this typeface will be highly appreciated.

Thanks everybody

Simona

The Cary Library at the Rochester Institute of Technology has a bunch of Ihlenburg memorabilia. David Pankow wrote an article about Ihlenburg that was published in Printing History, which might be of interest. Don’t know if it has anything specifically about that typeface, however.
