(x) Macbook Pro pre-unibody silver keyboard - VAG Rounded {Matt V}

What was the typeface used on the pre-unibody Macbook Pro silver keyboards? They stopped using it with the black keys on the unibody models in 2008, and I miss it.

chimerical,

If we're on the same page, the typeface you're looking for is VAG Rounded. As far as I know, that's still the typeface on all of the unibody "chicklet" keyboards too. I think they started using it some time after Steve Job returned to Apple -- before that their keyboards were set in Univers.

Hmm, you're right. The typeface on the black keys for the unibody models has remained the same.

I'm probably thinking about the Titanium Powerbook G4 models' black keys, which do seem like Univers.

Thanks for the type ID!

Glad I could help. Most of these I don't know, but I do know my Macs!
