Pretenders 1 Album Cover - 1980?

I'm new to this forum. I'm a big type-face fan and am glad to be here.

For years I've admired the font on the first Pretenders album, and now maybe someone can help me identify it. I did a search and didn't find anything already here, which surprised me as this is such a distictive font.

Can anyone help?

I am guessing custom, inspired by something like ITC Anna.

Duh, Anna is from 1991, so that hardly seems plausible. Maybe this custom lettering inspired Anna?

Thanks Mike.

I searched for Anna, and it is very very similar.
