fredcastle6 September 2009 · 14:25Any tips on how to get the best / darkest black for vector images I’m saving as .gif files and “saving for web” through illustrator? Thanks.
Theunis de Jong6 September 2009 · 14:35You must be converting from CMYK to RGB (or the other way around — a bit unlikely, with a GIF output target). Check your document color space. The darkest possible black is a black hole. RGB values of (0,0,0) come closest on a computer screen. The best there is, accept no substitute.
