Soap Typeface

jamesaallen

Hello,

I am currently working on a logo and branding project for a new shop selling organic handmade soap. I am really stuck on what typefaces I could use. The client's company is sort of like LUSH, they use a lot of spices and herbs in their soaps.

Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction of some typefaces you think could be suitable for such a job..?

Best,
James

You can always use... Lush! ;-)

How about Vista Slab? It's soft, clean, and très organic!

I think you should use the Soap Typeface only because it's the first thing that I thought of when I saw your subject line . . . and that's reason enough.

Soap

. . . probably not suitable tho.

Thanks for the replies guys, I like the idea of using a slab serif typeface as recommended by Eric, Thanks.

James

Here's one that I designed for such a luxury soap business. To me, handcrafted products are suited to a calligraphic style.
