I was just taking a look at Grant Hutchinson's website and saw a post about Monotype suing Tom Murphy over this "Embed" app that changes embedding restrictions on a font.

I haven't read all the material, but it's pretty clear that the main purpose of laws like the DMCA is to make the rich richer.

Just to clarify: this doesn't mean stealing is OK. In fact, the DMCA itself is theft, and that's why I don't like it.
