Hello all,
I need to know the font that is on the cover of this book - it is almost reminds me of a Pirate font, but it has a right side swash on the letter A and the serifs are different from most Pirate fonts - so I am not really sure if it’s one or not.
Any guesses?

Oops, I thought this was a proposal for identifying pirated fonts. (No idea on the i.d. Sorry.)
Hmm. I don’t see the swash on the letter A in the character map http://new.myfonts.com/fonts/dstype/kartago/kartago/characters.html but it is the same there is on the R and the K.
Michel, Thanks so much - I don’t know how the “A” got the side swash...but you’re right - everything else looks the same!

The font EULA allows you to do that in Illustrator. With “Type > Create Outlines” you can get the splines of both an A and a K or an R and then take the swash you want from the K or the R and put it on the A.
