I'm looking for Typefaces that look like the ones from the titles of a few of my favorite films from the 1970s.

Midnight Cowboy

Friends of Eddie Coyle

The Long Goodbye

Links no worky. Here are the images. Eddie Coyle is Franklin Gothic. Midnight Cowboy is similar to Binner but I know it's something else.

That was very helpful! Thank you so much.

Any idea about The Long Goodbye?

Midnight Cowboy looks a lot like Britannic Ultra, except with slightly rounded corners.

Cheers,

And "The Long Goodbye" is Blippo Bold.

(Thanks to Mike Yanega's Bauhaus Style fonts ID Guide :-)

"The Friends..." looks like a Franklin Gothic of sorts.

Thanks everybody. This made my day!

This seems like a very nice community. I don't know how much I'll be able to contribute, but I've already learned a lot from just lurking.

What about this one from Klute?

You should start a new thread for a new ID.
And you should start it in the right forum.

Thanks, Jan. Sorry for the confusion. Still new here. Someone can lock this thread I suppose.
