What kind of gun is this?

artslons

Anyone know what kind of gun is this in this image. I need to recreate down section of the gun.

Maybe you should ask a weapon forum or your local ministry of defence?

Yes, we only know about b•llets.

OOPS!!!! sorry but acutully i need to vectorized this gun so was geting information from here.

Well, it's a coast defense gun. If you want make and model, that will take more research. Where did you find the image?

Probably a German 88 used for coastal defense. The same gunmodel was also deployed as AA and in tanks.

There is nothing in the photo to denote scale, but I had something much bigger in mind than what would fit in a tank. An 88 would be a bit over 3 inches, right? I was envisioning something closer to 6 inches, from the photo.

Don <--- not an expert, having never fired anything bigger than a pellet gun

Ok ok i got cleared this job. My client asked me to forget about the bottom area. He only give me the image, Thanks to all for your help

88 is the bore, not the outside measure of the barrel. But I am not a gun expert, so…

That was the same assumption I was using.

Isn't it odd that in a group this large there hasn't been one come forward? Those people are usually everywhere.

:)

I am happy that Typophiles are not gun nuts.

Does that mean that we all can be mad in only one way?
