Central Queensland News newspaper blackletter

veryphatic

Hi there, I’m wondering if anyone is able to identify the masthead font used for the Central Queensland News.

Thanks, Nate.

Hi Nate. The closest I’ve been able to find is Journalistic. Will keep looking, though.

Bald Condensed

Those blackletter newspaper nameplates are most often custom designed. See for example the many designs by Jim Parkinson.
