Logo for Web Design Business

Tintin81

Hello everybody,

I am running a web design business and I'm still not happy with my logo. This is what I have right now: current logo and website

Last night I had this idea and I wonder if's got potential:

The s-curve in particular looks a bit shabby. I probably need a few more hours of Illustrator practice to get it going.

I also wonder if the concept makes any sense and if the "DB" mark should be any bigger or even placed somewhere else.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Is the "DB" mark supposed to resemble a mouse?

Liquified S isn't working... BD is also not the same as DB... but DB could be exchanged with Deutsche Bahn in Germany...

Ya, that s is not working at all.

What they said.

OK, thanks guys. At least I gave it a try :-)

Perhaps this and this could be of some help.

Great resource, thanks a lot. I find it terribly difficult to come up with something of my own, though. Any ideas on how to make a great workmark out of my company name?

Timo, I think you are over thinking it, as it is often the case when working on your own things.
What is it that you don't like about your current word mark? The idea of breaking apart the "T" works well in my opinion.
An alternative option could be to use a squarish sans which would allow you break down the whole "BITS" part.
Some ideas: Mandrax or Monodon
