Help please with 2 font styles

Mcrdave

Hi, I'm new here and have been asked to use the following 2 fonts for some designs, I'm struggling to find them!

I think one is similar to VAG but the S and Y are different.

Any help greatly appreciated.

thanks
Dave

The other one is Rotis Semi Serif Black Schoolbook with the alternate Venetian ‘e’.

No, seriously: this looks rather like an unbalanced homebrew mix of a number of different typefaces. Some characters/terminals suggest it might have started out with Rotis in mind once, cf. its Semi Serif Bold (there is no Rotis Black, and of course no ‘Schoolbook’ style with single-storey ‘a’ either).

For a lusty semi-serif, have a look at Areplos by Jan Solpera.

Wow, thankyou so much!

The help on the Consolidate font was particularly fantastic! I knew it must have started with a fairly commn font and of course Rotis fits the bill perfectly.

thanks again for the speedy response.

If you have to use it: It is Serif by Jürgen Geiger.

Even better!!!!!

Thanks soooooo much.

I owe you one!

Wow, impressive! (your sleuthing, not that freebie ;-))

Thanks, Florian, but that’s not really impressive. I just gathered some fonts at dafont which have »borrowed« some details from Rotis. Serif was one of the few.
