sewing / stitching font

P_P

I'm looking for a font that resembles stitches or sewing, not in a crude way like stitches on a wound but more elegant and flowing. I would be very happy to hear your suggestion. Thank you.

There's a lot around: Umbrella's Brea, Fountain's Gretel, FF Nelio or flat-it's Flat10 Holy, and I'm sure there are others.

Thank you sapitau for all your sugggestions. The image I have in my head though is less embroider and more sewing if that makes sense. I want the outline to be made up by the stitches, not embroider "crosses", hard to explain..

Topstitch is the closest i've come so far but its a bit to "dottie"

Oh, I'm sorry looks like I'm more of an embroiderer myself. Stitched font is much harder to find I reckon (especially the elegant ones). Do you mean something like this?? (or do it yourself if you have any Illustrator-skills)

I think your right, I'll have to enter illustrator mode. Thank you again for taking an interest.

The pointilles version of Ecolier might work. http://www.dafont.com/ecolier.font

Does cross stitch count? Lars Törnqvist Typografi has a few.
