Help identifying these 2 fonts

Please can anyone tell me the names of these two fonts and/or some suggestions for something similar.

A new leaf is sort of similar to Base 9 & 12
also very similar to the beautiful Houschka by our very own Nick Cooke.

I've seen "font2" before..in a sample in a book called ABZ published by Chronicle Books. I checked the index..but it tells me that the designer is unknown, but it's apparently from Hungary, ca 1930. And it's from the collection of some guy called Jan de Jong.
