Font go-togethers ...

I have a project and I would like to get it right ... I need your help.
The logo uses Edwardian Script ITC
I used Adobe Garamond Pro for a headline and it looks (goes together) okay but I would like to know if there is a better go-together? Continuing with Edwardian Script ITC doesn't seem like a good idea (too fancy).

Also, for website copy, I need to select a default, would you use Verdana or ?

Your guidance will be appreciated.

Just wondering ... from your professional viewpoint is there no such thing as "font go-togethers?"

Logo is Edwardian Script ... I ended up using Georgia for a tagline.

There’s this amazing you rule can apply to font pairings: if you think the fonts look good together, use them together. Otherwise, don’t.

Hey James ... thanks for posting. That's a pretty wide open rule.

In display settings, yes. When setting inline text one can always mix types in ways that distracts or detracts from the copy, which can be a problem, but otherwise just go for broke.
