Hairline Display Serif (HTF Chronicle like)

md70.com main logo. Closest I've found is HTF Chronicle Display Extra-Light. Any idea? Thanks.

It looks like a synthesis of Firmin Didot and my own Marquet Titling (below), based on the 19th century work of Théophile Beaudoire. Anyway, it's very French! Almost looks like it could be a display version of Sabon, if there were such a thing.

Another alternative: Freight Big

Thank you both of you for these suggestions. May be some would have more...

The 'D' is very much like that in Perpetua Titling and the '7' like Big Caslon.

Indeed... CC Big Caslon comes very close. Thanks once more Stephen!
