Hi,
I am looking for a handwritten font similar to the one used in the attached image (used in JACKIE & ROBERT). If anyone could help me out, it would be greatly appreciated - all the handwritten fonts I have come across lack the neatness and structure of this one.
Thanks so much!
I may be crazy, but I seem to remember a font based on the opening titles to Dr. Strangelove. This could be that (if it even exists).
- Lex
You're not crazy, Lex, the Dr. Strangelove font is here (Major Kong), and for free no less. It's not nearly as condensed as the sample above, though.
This (Pablo Skinny) is somewhat more similar to the sample in proportion, and seems to be based on the work of that same lettering artist who did the Strangelove titles.
FYI, "...that same lettering artist" is Pablo Ferro.
He did the titles for few other films, too. ;)
The actual font is Lucidity by Jon Jennings.
Nice to know about Pablo Skinny though. I remember MIB titles done in that.
