Font ID help with Nokia Siemens Networks logo

metaspace

Hi, all

I stumbled upon Nokia Siemens Networks logo. Can someone help identify the typeface in the logo? Thanks.

Isn’t that custom by Erik Spiekerman?

Nope, not it.

@Renko Thanks for your prompt reply.

The new font is not Erik Spiekerman's work, although he creates the famous Nokia Sans. Nor is it based on Siemens croporate typeface. I Googled over the web, and found that Moving Brands, a newly emerging design firm based in Lodon helped making the new logo for the the new emerged company in 2007. There is also an animation verson of the logo. Pretty impressive.
But I still have no idea what exactly the typeface is. The font looks like a customization based on Neo Sans and Frutiger. Any thoughts?

Hi

I reckon that it is a modified version of Klavika. The letterforms appear softer, but the makeup of the t appears extremely similar.

I used to work for Siemens. It is a custom proprietary font. I used to have a copy of it, but I've misplaced it.

@dsgoen Thanks for your information.

I hope you can get back the font in a right place one day. Good luck.
