Cafe Logo

larsko

I am designing a logo for a cafeteria in a museum. The interior space is nicely designed, simple, dark green walls. Obviously I wanted to do something relating to the courtyard, but I didn’t want to use a tree.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

do something with smoothing the edges of the leaf.
they look like they are broken and sharp...

Thanks for the comment. Here’s an improvement hopefully, while still keeping it hand drawn.... or maybe I should get rid of the hand drawing and go with something smoother altogether...

something different...

I’m liking the direction (not the latest “antler” type things though.)

I wonder how the whole icon might look in a lino/woodblock print style ... i.e, edges not so clean.

what bothers me is that the logo is ALMOST the width of the ’Courtyard’, but not quite.

Thanks so much for the feedback! I will post more, I have been off for the holidays...

HOLIDAYS!?!? At this time of year?!

I agree with innovati, :) sorry i’m new here :D a few i guess a little polishing on the antlers won’t hurt, looks a tad bit rough ;)

on a side note:
I wanna go on a holiday too!! :D
