I’ve been searching for decent typefaces cut in the fat-face style, similar to William Thorowgood’s early explorations.
Any suggestions?

Maybe there is something you like on Extra Bold, Ultra Black Fonts: Hit Hard with Heavy Duty Type (a list Stephen Coles put together for the FontFeed).
