Anyone know of a Sans Serif capital "I" with Cross Bars?

James Deux

I'm working with Helvetica Neue Light right now and the Design features the letter spread apart.

But the I is just incredibly, incredibly skinny all by its little lonesome self.

Any suggestions? I need an I with a line striking through the top and bottom.

One sans with a serifed "I" that comes to mind is Bell Gothic. There are plenty more, too...

The skinny, lonesome, Helvetica "I," by the way, may get just cozy enough with a nice cup of custom kerning, rather than just relying on default letter-spacing algorithms. Good luck.

This is what Identifont spat out. It includes Info, Tahoma and Verdana.

The letters are being arranged into a "Grid" pattern, a 5x3.

That said...

*look left, looks right, blushes*

I've realized Courier is the way to go! Haha.

Thank you all though for your suggestions.

Panoptica was designed for this kind of layout.

Thank you very much Nick. I will make sure to take note of that one.
