AFDKO Compare Family - Error: The Blue Values

When testing font families in ADFKO's Compare Family I get a long list of errors concerning the Blue Values.

Can anyone explain whats the problem, if I need to fix it, and if so, how ?


Blue Values Single Face Test 5: Check that the difference between numbers in blue value pairs meet the requirement.

Error: The BlueValues pair have distance greater than the maximum limit.
Font: Heso-Light
Pairs: -13 0
Distance (13) is greater than 1/BlueScale ( 2.75)
BlueValues: [-13, 0, 511, 524, 676, 689]

Error: The BlueValues pair have distance greater than the maximum limit.

Please, upload pictures with your alignmentzones (screen dump) and bluescale settings (screen dump) and I can help out.

Goran, I think I've sorted the problem out but I'm not certain why the fix has worked.

I changed the Blue Scale is equal to - (I copied the figure from an older font I had done)

Ok, great you got it working! I've been experimenting a lot with the bluescale by trial and error and it's quite nice because you can by changing it actually have good control when the overshoots should show themselves and when they should not. Many fonts, I think, show them a little bit to early ;-)
