Appropriate use of Comic Sans

daniele capo

Today I was in the court of my town and I see some beautiful notice set in Comic Sans all caps (size 100 points). I can't imagine a font most suitable to italian justice.

That sounds gorgeous!

I guess they need to read Typography for Lawyers...

;-D

I saw Comic Sans at the Seattle Municipal Courthouse, for that notice that tells the public how to run their stuff through the metal detector. Someone must've thought it would look real friendly...

The last police report I filed in Madrid had a mix of Arial, Times New Roman, and, you guessed it, Comic Sans. I thought they had some too on my tax return but I just checked and it doesn't. Heh, at least one branch of the government has it right. My pre-application form for the TED program at UAM also sported it.

Well, so it isn't an italian problem. “Tutto il mondo è paese”
