Looking for an elegant script similar to this Hydro Seventy Four logo

francis bold

This logotype is obviousy highly modified, But would anybody know the typeface used?

Big Thanks in advance

Luey

Yea its a pretty custom job, I don't know what it is but a good starting point could be ITC Edwardian Script… maybe!

Indeed a good starting point, defiantly on the right road there. Just trying to think what could be the give away here. I'm thinking the 'd' in hydro could tell the story for some one who knows.

Thanks for your input robbiefa!

Another you can try is Fete by Robbie de Villiers.

E-mail him at his web site. Just google Hydro Seventy Four.

Michael

wow getting close here! Fete would seem to be quite fitting, couple things don't match up. But of course its always hard when matching a face with heavy embellishment. Cheers dude!

As for emailing him, I might just do that! . . . What's the worst that can happen :)

Luey

Fette looks good! Luey would you stick it up here if he emails back... these things haunt me! haha!

He's probably a nice fellow and would love to know his site is getting some hits!

And maybe you can get him to join Typophile

Michael

Ha, will do man, no probs.

Oh I emailed him in the end and he got back to me! very nice chap.

He said he used Sloop with lots of modification.
