I realize this is probably simple for most of you, but I dont know this one. Can someone help me out?

A new type crime: Strangling with swashes.

I completely agree. Of course, I have to reproduce it, and no one has the vector file. And what’s up with that kerning? The C has eaten the h!

Only thing that comes to my mind is this.
Not a match, though.

Thanks, Jan. I’m most likely going to wind up redrawing it anyway. I was hoping it was simple, and that I was just overlooking it.

This looks like ITC Tiffany with swash alternates. Not sure if that actually exists.

Talking about swashes, is there some common rules of using this alternates?
Ive read its normal to use it in italic capitals, but want to hear your opinoun.

Lex,

Once you mentioned it, ITC Tiffany made perfect sense. After doing some digging, I’ve discovered that swash alternates once existed, but I dont think they were ever digitized.

:(

Given that this logo dates from the seventies, I think I’m out of luck. Perhaps I can convince them to update the logo sans swashes.
