GlaxoSmithKline font ID please

poppie

Does anyone know what font is used in the GlaxoSmithKline logo? Thanks in advance.

The text in gray is Frutiger

gsk is custom word mark... reminds me of Mylius

Looks like a slightly modified version of Friz Quadrata for the "gsk". Are you looking for the GlaxoSmithKline wordmark typeface?

I'm looking for the gsk font...the "l" in the glaxosmithkline wordmark seems to be modified to simulate the gsk font...

the “l” in the glaxosmithkline wordmark seems to be modified to simulate the gsk font...

...or it could just be a trick of the low resolution in that image. :-)

[EDIT] Never mind what I said. Here's a link to a better JPEG. The bottom of the "l" is definitely curved:

This butchered Frutiger is yet another example of a graphic designer attempting the work of a type designer.
