(x) Bodoni w/ extremely thin hairlines on Vanity Fair cover- H&FJ Didot {Stephen}

Lenora

I'm looking for a version of Bodoni that has extremely thin thins such as that used by Vanity Fair in both print and online publications. The sample shows the font used for "Bobby Kennedy" on the cover.

Thanks so much!

The serifs are unbracketed. That is a Didot. I'm going to guess Didot from Hoefler & Frere-Jones because the roundness of the interior shapes on the n. It isn't the same shape in Linotype's Didot.

Unless, of course, that is Mayeur from James (Montalbano). But I really don't think so as the serifs have no shape or further articulation.

There is no thinner didone than H&FJ Didot.

HF&J Didot it is!! Thank you for your lightning fast responses.
