What kind of typefaces were in use during the earliest part of the 1900's to the 1950's in Britain and USA? I am trying to convey the Titanic via experimental type and I have used the typeface Onyx. I need to know more about Onyx and have looked for some background information on Onyx and have not found much online. Can someone please help if you have information on the typeface and when it came to be etc.
