Naive script similar to Australia tourism branding

mahnamahna24 April 2008 · 20:08

I came across this thread http://www.typophile.com/node/43276 and I love the font Pablo uses in one of his logo ideas in his second post, the logo on the right. It reminds me of the face used for Australia's tourism branding. I don't even know what search terms to use to find something like it.

Does anyone know what it is? Or one similar?

Don't know it. Dizzy has similarities.

Reminds me of Akbar.

It reminds me of Rouge for some reason.

Reliq Extra Active has a similar flavour.

The closest I could think of was Rats (w/alts) from Font Bureau, but I think this is a 'personal' (custom) font design, of the kind we describe in our FAQ about hand-printed fonts. Easy and cheap to do.
