Looks like its actually a real font, very similar, I would imagine they are from the same family, but can't find its name, any ideas ?

Not very similar, but it's got those rounded terminals sort of:

Thanks Lex for the reply, for some reason the roundness of the font caught my eye, I can clearly see the difference between those two now, do you have any ideas what might 'MEED' be by any chance ?!

That's what I meant - MEED looks like a modified VAG.
