I am trying to find/remember a logo with two interlocking hands in a kind of yin and yang way (i.e it has rotational symmetry (within a circle, I think). Think it might be a UK logo but I'm not absolutely sure. Anyone know it?
There are literally myriads of logos with two hands:
Just a sample:
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee
Declaration of Independence Film Festival
Nice one: Logo by Christian Palino (>Logo Marks>top left)
Helping Hands Ministry
National Association of Black Accountants
Or the SED logo? No, not very much Yin&Yang in it … ;^)
Not that it helps, but I can bring to mind the one you're talking about, Nick. Smoothly rounded curvilinear fingers, right? One white hand, one black... I've definitely seen it somewhere. I'll have a look in "A Smile in the Mind" later to see if it's in there somewhere...

Hmm, the CRE one isn't what I was thinking of, but it's Nick's question!
It wasn't in "A Smile in the Mind", nor in the "Logo Font & Lettering Bible" so wherever I did see it was probably in actual use...
Frustrating.

Could it be this one: Conservatives. Moving Britain forward?
See if this link will do work for you: http://logoblink.com/2008/02/23/logos-hands/
There is one in black and red which might be what you're looking for.
I was thinking of a very similar logo. I came across this one on my travels:

to be honest the one I had in mind had two hands.
