What is the Royal Mail / Post Office Typeface

Hello Typo's,
I have been beating my head all afternoon trying to remember what this is?

If you could also recommend an alternative for marketing and possible signage

That is G-Type's Chevin.

Simon - It is not Royal Mail's own typeface, so you don't need an alternative.
