Anyone knows what font they used to design the “AMERICAN IDOL” logo and all its sister logos?
Please check: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Idol_series#Logo
They say its kaufmann! But when you check the German “R” or German “S” its different from kaufmann
thanks. fllody
fllody, the logos are based on Kaufmann ... you can see above that the German logo
has been slightly customized. (maybe in KidPix 2.0) :P
They definitely don’t share many similarities. I agree that Kaufmann is not the right font.

Not any more they don’t.
It’s not a font.
Looks like it was hand-written and they used the same vectorized S in the final design.
