Qantas logo 1968 - 1984

Very short question. I'm wondering if anyone knows what font was used by Qantas on the 1968 - 1984 logo?

Hi Beau,

probably not a font but a custom drawn logo. The ‘S’ reminds me of Serpentine.

Darn, I was hoping that wasn't the case. Hmm, that 'S' is very close, might be able to get away with using a couple of characters from other fonts. Guess I'll keep tracing it in inkscape then. Thanks.
