Where did you get the sample?
It could be hand-drawn, or it could be an old irregular, forgotten, metal face of that kind.

Its from the cover of a Mario Testino “Disciples” exhibition catalogue (London 2003) designed by Peter B Willberg. Came across it the other day and was rather intrigued.
