Hamm's beer advertising font

anyone know what the font is for the Hamm's logo, might be hand drawn, and/or the headline font from the print ads? see attached.
thanks, liz

A fun, similar replacement for the headline might be Ed Roman.

Because the Hamm's brand predates the digital age of type, the lettering of the logo must have been hand drawn. I think. And that's precisely what's so great about nostalgic graphic design like this example. We cannot expect to replicate the same unique charm with short-cut logos created with fonts.

Koppa speaks the truth. You might dig La Salle, Amorinda or Malbeck.

that's so true, koppa.
thanks for the font ideas guys.
