Does anyone have any ideas on the title font? Apologies for the low resolution image but this is the only picture I could find for the ’71 edition. Note: (corners seem slightly rounded and lines aren’t always dead straight).

If you don’t assume the author’s name is in the same typeface, then Anzeigen Grotesk could be a candidate (otherwise, it has the wrong ’a’). That type should date back to 1971 or earlier, as a pre-digital design.
