Hi,
I would like to know if someone could help to find which semi-serif font is used to write "MASAHIRO (S)HINODA" on this packaging.
I know this is a font because I have this DVD pack and it is used to write a lot of texts.
After few search and with help on WhatTheFont Forum, it cames that Manfred Klein could be the author.
Font as CrazyCrazy is very close but not a perfect match... Hope it helps...
Thanks in advance.
I think this could be a customized ITC Galliard. This is not really hard to -- just cut off serifs here and there.
You perfectly right about ITC Galliard.
I’m still convinded this is a font. Lot of texts are written with downer and special characters (é, è, à...). It seems also that there is two weights, regular and bold and all text initials are caps and semi-serifs... So that’s why I have concluded this is a font...
It is as ITC Galliard semi-serif has come to life...
Do you have a bigger sample of that?
I will try a digitization...
Here is a closer view of this type, digitized from my personnal DVD packaging...
Yup, exactly what I thought. Now to find if this customized version is generally available.
