Could you be thinking of Sinaloa, which is similar?

There was an old Letragraphica (Letraset) typeface called Sinaloa that has the same character design, but instead of two white line accents there are four. This might be an adaptation of that font (or vice-versa).

Actually, now that I study it, I think it is a simplification of Sinaloa, with fewer, broader white stripes.
