For what it’s worth, I checked over 500 serif font families with round/ball terminals, and found very few with an ’a’ that was even similar, with this odd curved back, and none that were slab serifs with this kind of ’k’. If this is a logo, and not just the name of a rare New Zealand parrot species, I’d say the odds of being custom lettering are high.

This is a logo... I also spent a long time searching for this one! but if anyone has something that comes close i would really like to know myself! I cant remeber who designed this logo but if anyone can please throw it up as well!

Its likely to be a custom job.
Its quite cut & paste, a lot of the curves seem awkward !

Actually seems to me to be a chopped up Century Schoolbook
