Printing large quickly on a budget?

fredcastle

I need to print a short 8 spread page magazine [plus front and back cover] for a graphic design class thats 15 by 25 inches full spread. Front and back, and hopefully in color.

Is there any easy way to do this do you think, besides paying the big bucks and printing out large posters and glueing them together?

I’d be willing to print in black and white.

Thanks.

Talk to the people at Kinkos - you may be surprised at what they can do.

You might go to a local print shop, maybe Kinko’s, and see if they have an Indigo (or other) press. These are specifically designed to do short-run projects such as yours.

I’ve learned that kinkos is actually I really good place to print. Thats the only place I went when I was in school, and it was 20 mins away.

As well as surprised at how they can really screw up the simplest of instructions. That said, they never charge for mistakes, so you just have to do a bit of hand holding.

Also, most any Kinkos or small print shop will have large format ink jet machines these days. Shouldn’t cost much at all.

Will do thanks.
