Video fonts

Hi all,
Does anyone know where I could find info on what fonts translate best to video? I am really looking for the San Serif of video and info on what to look for in a font for video. Also info like what is the smallest size (point size + DPI and/or pixel height) that should be used for video. -thanks

Have a look at Bitstream's Tiresias and the links at the bottom.

Tiresias is a good call, and I would recommend Poppl Laudatio too. BTW, if you want to get the color/width just right, consider something like Myriad-MM and tweak it just right for your conditions.

I would take a look at Critter from Letterror
They made it for MTV to use especially for brodacasting.
