I’m designing a newsletter for a children’s charity that uses Helvetica Rounded Bold in their logo. I’m looking for another face to use for headlines, and a serif for the body copy.
Any suggestions?
Also, is there a lightweight version of Helvetica Rounded, or another face in a lightweight I could use with it?
Thanks
Have a look at FF Speak. It’s very friendly and works well at large sizes.
For body copy, it might be nice to recall the traditional “schoolbook” type of vintage children’s books:
Plantin Schoolbook
ParaType Schoolbook
Century Schoolbook
Bembo Schoolbook - a bit more formal
Thanks, Stephen. I love the conceptual approach. Thanks for pointing me in that direction.
