The E’s don’t match.

When that was done fonts didn’t even exist probably.

I suspected it was custom.
Any ideas of what might be similar?

As Jan said, it’s hand drawn. I’d think it’s based on the “idea” of Friz Quadrata Bold.
However it’s so distorted compared with the original I’m not sure that will help much.

You’re kidding, right Jan? “Fonts,” as in specific sizes and weights of metal type, preceded the Fab Four by more than a few years... ;)

I thought “fonts” is the term just for digital type.
I do know about Gutenberg.
