Dear,

try
Proforma,
Quiosco,
Poynter,
Miller,
Bureau,
and Benton.

Look at the bottom of the Didot page too...

The only problem for mating with Gotham is that--fantastic as Gotham really is--it's getting overexposed. The thing is EVERYWHERE. When Yahoo! licenses your font and splashes it on their main page, have you jumped the shark in terms of cutting edge?

HF Didot looks great on its own merits, how about a retro suggestion? Univers.

Thanks

Uh did I mention we are definately using Gotham in there with HFJ Didot, anyone's thoughtson Mercury as text font with the above?

eben

oh about Gotham being over-used ... I am in South Africa, and its not been that featured down here...lucky for me.

eben

I can't visualize Mercury, Didot, and Gotham all in one publication- perhaps you can post a mock-up.

BTW... Why not just use the 6pt or 11pt masters intended for text that come with HF&J Didot ?

Just curious... Mikey :-)

thanks mikey

went with your advise on the Freight and spent $800 on type this morning, wha bliss
:-)

beautiful body and the combination of that with Gotham and HFJ Didot is very beautiful n magazine. Not so sure about Didot as text font...irritates mea after paragraph 2

eben

Very cool! Yes Freight is very beautiful for bodywork and think it will contrast nicely with Didot and Gotham.

Post images when you get the change.

Mikey :-)
