Just starting on a squarish sans display typeface - with the characters that give more character (aegno), not sure exactly what changes I should make next, I’m working out of illustrator, started on paper. I know these need lots and lots and lots of work still but I’m just looking for some direction. My first sans. Cheers! - Thomas.
I like the a and the g... very organic-. But the e and n look like you altered an existing typeface.
If the typeface is meant to be organic then make sure that this is reflected through out the rest of the design.

Hey thanks for the comment.. I was thinking similar thoughts, that some of the characters are similar to eachother but not to others. Your comment is a direction I could totally go in.. thanks!

Try flipping the a over and use that as a starting point for the e.
