I vaguely recall seeing this described as custom type in some design firm’s portfolio, but others may be better informed than I.

A face in a similar vein is Font Bureau’s Avia:

It is custom by Paul Barnes.

Am I missing something at the Paul Barnes site? Am I supposed to be able to click somewhere on those columns of handlettered type? Is the “more” button supposed to take me somewhere?

Marc, the ‘more’ button will take you on a round-trip through all his works. I don’t wanna deep-link, but the one is question is on position 39. If you open one of the images in a new window (right-click), you know what to do to the URL.

Obviously a tough one.
Thanks for your help marcox. cheers!

Ah Paul Barnes it is. Nice one Kris!! Thanks alot.
